Certificates are not the problem. We even have a wildcard certificate. Hosting a forum and dealing with all the crap like spam and security patches adds another site to manage and the day already has only 24h.

Yes, we've switched from crappy self-signed certificates to wildcard certificates for *.coinfoundry.org to further improve security and privacy for the miners.

Like I said in another thread. Those mini-guides will make a come-back soon, even I'm personally not convinced they are strictly necessary. 

IMHO, newbs don't have a clue at all and will use the generator. Most advanced users will probably only need the stratum and login information.

I wasn't even aware that SSL ever worked for this site. This site is hosted by UserEcho.com and they don't have our SSL certificate.
