I just noticed I have a very high ping to this mining pool, over 150ms.  I read, find a small pool and join it when I started mining a month or so ago, so that is what I did.  I am in the US, server is in Germany isnt it???

Am I causing issues having a high ping to the pool.   What is the down side to me having a high ping time?

I am new here, actually first time mining in pool and I noticed that yesterday, a XMR block was found, but I did not get any reward. Personal dashboard says 630M shares, 0 XMR balance and 0 XMR earned and nothing on payments tab.

How does this stuff actually work? I guess that when block is found, my balance should increase (according to proportion of shares I got) and once balance is at least 0.1 XMR, a payment is made to my wallet?

Might be related to paymentID/worker confusion? I had worker name as payment id until today morning, when I fixed stuff.

I tried mining with the same miner on two machines using the same pool and same wallet address but apparently my hash rate is limited to the hash rate of one machine instead of both combined. Is this wrong/not doable?

TL;DR: can I use xmr-stak to mine ETN?

Just a simple question, I've been using xmrig to mine ETN lately, but some people reported higher hashrates using xmr-stak.

I compiled it on my Linux machine and ran it for the first time just to be greeted by a guided setup wizard that asks me various things, including the Cryptocurrency I want to mine. There are only two options: Monero and Aeon.

I understand that Monero and Electroneum use the same algorithm (cryptonight IIRC), so I just entered Monero.

The log shows a series of Result accepted by the pool so I guess it's working, but I'm asking here just to make sure.

ich bin noch Anfänger was mining betrifft und habe vor kurzem angefangen ETN bei eurem Pool zu minen. Jedoch wird mir auch 6 Stunden nachdem der letzte Blcok Chain gefunden wurde (bin seit ca 16 Stunden konstant am minen) ein Kontostand sowie Einnahmen von 0 angezeigt.

Nach dem finden eines Blocks wird doch eigentlich ausgezahlt richtig?
