Unless somehow people add A LOT more of power, I'd put my estimate near the heat death of the universe... =/

Well, TIL...

And did the math with that tool (roughly), and it's telling me I should be generating 2.75€, it's not that off...

Well, hopefully this will eventually stabilize.

I'd double check your configuration, cause last night I recieved 0.072 MONAS (my rig is fairly weak: a 950 and a 1060) O.O

Well, true... Hopefully less people will run away now that the problem appears to be fixed =)

I don't understand why though... I've made more in the last day mining MONA (roughly 2.28€) than when I was on for instance on NiceHash (roughly 2€ a day). And that's taking into consideration that MONA floats a LOT.

Normally in a RL pool, what you do is pool computing resources in order to help each other find blocks. Once someone in the pool finds a block, the profit of that block is shared among the pool members proportionally to the amount of work it provided to the pool. Of course that requires a bit of luck, and the more compute power a certain pool has, the more likely it is to find a block. However, that also means more miners, so the payout is distributed across more people.

And the AEON pool has so little hashing power at this moment that you might as well wait for the rest of eternity before finding a single block :V

To be fair, 3 hours later, we already found 2 VTC coins! It's improving!

Needs more hashing power overall, we've at best 0.3% of the hashing power in the entire network...

first: check this: http://poolmining.userecho.com/forums/1-general/topics/151-mona-hashrate-under-the-half/

Second: mining to a pool works differently than mining to NiceHash. With NiceHash you weren't directly mining coins, you where selling compute power so that others could mine. You where paid independently of the results the buyers where getting. In here, you got to wait that the pool finds a block before reaping the profits. When the pool finds that block, it splits the profits according to the work each rig executed.

However, I think that Deamon that confirms the operations is stuck again. I guess PoolMining wasn't ready for the surge of users it got after NiceHash got hacked =P
