Regarding currency changing ... if both coins are compatible (ie. using the same Proof-of-Work algorithm), migrating shares is possible. Unfortunately this is not the case for ETN -> Mona.

Just remind me when the next block is found and I will send you a little compensation for the time you "wasted" on XMR.

Which caused your shares to get discarded when the block was found. PPLNS has a certain tolerance for on/off mining but not for so many days.
