Hmm. I've just tried to follow the instructions exactly as described on website and it worked instantly. Did you make sure to paste your wallet address replacing the placeholder YOUR_WALLET_ADDRESS ?

We support extranonce.subscribe (#xnsub) even though we currently do not update miner extranonces on the fly because we use a higher nonce-space by default.
