New pool I would assume.

The pool has never found a block.

Looking at the hash rate right now...  i'd say the average time to find a block is like 19 days or something.   This is a rough estimate when comparing to hash of another pool.

Yes. (most likely)    No. (possibly)

If a block is found then the last N shares are used for payouts.  The last N shares used is 2*difficulty of the block.

So if a block is found reasonably soon (shares wise), then you will get a payout.

If the block takes super long to find (shares wise), then your shares wouldn't fall within the last N shares, and would be dropped.

This is how PPLNS works.

The hashrate of your pool has dropped a very large amount, so don't expect there to be a large number of blocks found.   The whale miner in your pool seems to have stopped mining 16 hours ago, which is why you guys aren't finding blocks all the time, like you were before.

Of course new miners could join, in which case your pool would find blocks more frequently again.

If you want super consistent tiny payments, then find a pool with a ton of miners in it....  which seems to be what you want, from what you have been posting.

Thanks for the response.  That clears up some things.

I mean, I know previous round shares can get counted in PPLNS.   But doesn't the share count usually reset for the dashboard?

Another block was found, and peoples were paid.   So it looks like the pool works now.

So you are saying that in the pool that I was mining basically by myself (XVG Lyra)....  there was a block or blocks found?   But you didn't have the pool set up correctly to receive the rewards?    :(

How am I supposed to have confidence to mine this pool?   The Lyra pool has 0 blocks found, and I don't even know if any of the blocks I find will actually be paid out.  Is it set up correctly now?  I have no idea over here.

I was excited that there is a new Lyra2rev2 pool.   But so far this is really bumming me out.  There have been issues with the dashboard, issues with shares that didn't update, and now the worst issue, unpaid "lost" blocks.

Lost blocks are not "nothing" to me, especially when I am mining by myself in there.  (one person is in there steady mining at a low rate)    There are not 9 people in that pool, like the front page of the website says.  Maybe 9 people mined in that pool at one time in the past without a block yet found.

Shares were stuck at 429.03 K.     When Shares started updating again, shares started counting upward from that same point.   Shares number did not spike first.

I was wondering this too.   Once my shares started updating again...  they continued rising from the point where they were previously, they didn't increase by a large amount.   My share number was frozen for a long period of time where my miners were still going, the share number should have increased by a large amount when the UI started updating again.

Does your dashboard at least list your workers?

Dashboard was working fine when I started 11 hours ago.

Now, my Dashboard shows 0 Hash, 0 workers, and my shares are not going up anymore.

Dashboard hasn't updated for the last 2 hours.

My miners are all still hashing and shares are being accepted.

XVG lyra pool

My dashboard is totally broken.  The last listing on my Dashboard is 11 am, which is 2 hours out of date.

All my miners are still hashing and shares are being accepted.
