Oliver, if you do close down the XMR pool, can you suggest a pool or pools to go to.  I started mining about 5 months ago, looked up pools, selected your pool and have been here every since.  Hate to see it happen but if you cannot get it to work properly I cannot blame you.

It is back down to 100 - 300 ms now.  much better but it is back to saying "No active pools, stop mining" on occasion.  As before it is on Windows 7, Windows 10, Linux...  I am using xmrig-2.5.2.  I am back to losing around 200 - 300 H/s.  This is very odd, when the time was bouncing 400 -4000ms I was not having the No active pools error...   The pings go down and I get the error.

I change the address to the west coast server 104.237.153.17, as requested by Oliver before to help with this issue and am still having the same error "No active pools, stop mining" on occasion.  It is also up to around 300 - 500 ms on this server.

Anyone have any ideas...

I am using XMRIG on Windows 7, Windows 10, and Ubuntu Linux 16.04.  Very easy to use and figure out.  But it was definitely a pain to do around 30 laptops, two computers and two old servers.  I highly recommend XMRIG for CPU mining, it is really easy to use.

It looks like the pool lost half of our Monero H/s with this fork, and over half of our miners...  That is bad, right...

I have 33 laptops all stacked in a small area lol, changing the all the miners tonight is not going to happen lol...  I already plan to down them all tomorrow night or Sunday to upgrade the mining software for the new Monero change coming up.  I will limp along until then...  Hopefully the change you make tomorrow will help.   If the changes you make do not resolve the issue perhaps you can change / tweak the geo-location DNS and use it as makeshift load balancer.  Might be cheaper to reconfig the DNS.  Thank you for looking into it.

WOWO - I would say statistically our Monero pool success is not possible.  I never thought I would say this to another man...  Oliver, keep the secret sauce coming,,, LOLOLOLOL

so can i change to the new miner and work properly on the old XMR and the new XMR fork when it starts?

I rebooted them, they show on the website now.

Amazing, just amazing.  Go Go Go Team Monero...
