Please explain to me how you "Steal" a block. I have a mining farm and run pools myself and I hate orphans... but I get them plenty considering my pool is competing with other pools on same coins. For example, all those running YIIMP and have the same Scrypt coins I mine will have a higher rate of orphans. Why? Because we're all mining the same coin and fight for submitting blocks for low diff coins fastest.
If a competing pool wanted to be dirty, they'd simply do a DDoS attack as seems common (unfortunately) now-a-days. Hey...I'm annoyed at this issue too bro, but being upset at Bitmain seems misdirected to me hehe.
Curious why people are mad at Bitmain for this? I mean I'm not a huge fan of them either, but I don't see how this is their fault..Has someone confirmed that this issue is not happening (somehow..) with innosilicon, iBeLink, and Baikal X11 miners? As far as I'm aware - it's has nothing to do with mining hardware.
The Antminer is not that complicated....It's a stripped down version of linux running cgminer with a few minor tweaks. If you SSH to the antminer, you can see ALL the configurations they have on it. Thus, Saying this crap helps exactly ZERO. Unless you have some PROOF of this...please refrain from worthless comments.
EDIT - Mining other X11 coins is working fine also...which further confirms this theory is nonsense.
Oh, I'm going by Crackfoo's statement on the github link you posted here https://github.com/dashpay/dash/issues/1822 - Besides the zpool.ca link, I'm familiar with his name on forums and github hehe
Drat :( figured it can't be that easy hehe
Hey - Zpool said they updated to the new version...If you guys did too, perhaps reverting to previous version will resolve?
LOL Of course Zpool would have the issue too. Why? Because I switched to them LMAO.
*sigh*

Just got another Orphan again - issue is not fixed. Hit me up when you have this fixed. 24 hours of paying electricity with 0 profits is not something I personally can eat. Love the pool - hope it's fixed soon.
Orphans are lost blocks - simple as that. Pool or the world owes you nothing for those. However...back to back orphans when we've had like 0% orphans indicates something is likely wrong. You can mine elsewhere but as Eric mentioned - the portions we get here are worth the slower block finding. That said - we're almost 0 all day which hurts. Mining elsewhere and removing all the hash from the pool will probably NOT make it easier for pool to find and fix issue...but then again - I can understand from a miners perspective - D3's barely profitable for most folks, so every minute counts ;)
Pool Support has been working on it for a while they said - we can only hope it gets resolved and we'll be back to making money :)

You can not be mining on two pools at the same time. If you are I want to as well hehe :P
When in doubt - reboot your miners.
