Curious, and my apologies if this is covered elsewhere, what does the "effort" indicate?

To add, I've cleared out old drivers, and I've been using the XM Rig CPU miner for a while with no issues, just can't get the SGminer working that I downloaded and configured with the site instructions. Hash rate is around 200 - 240 with this setup, so if that is what I should expect to see with the SGminer, I'll just keep using the CPU miner.
