I recently start getting the "no active pools, stop mining" error too. I think this started sometime this week. I am connecting from the UK on port 3104.

Unfortunately the spike in demand for GPUs is pushing the price up. I dont know of any retailers who isnt ripping us off with GPU prices right now.
