Any news Oliver? It doesn't seem to be an orphan as per blockradar.

I would appreciate knowing whether this block will be rewarded to the pool miners, not really bothered with the explanation at this point.

Depending on your mining hardware (hashrate) you will probably have to wait for longer than that.

You will be credited after a block has been mined (and confirmed) but you won't be paid until you reach the payment threshold so unless you got some powerful hardware it will probably take more than one block to receive payment.

I believe this means that I you do opt to have your funds transferred (in the coin minded) to an exchange (trading exchange) the pay out threshold is higher (1 XMR v 0,1 XMR).

The alternative would be to be paid into your own wallet and then make a transfer to your chosen exchange, obviously paying transaction fees yourself.

The distinguishing factor as far as I understand it is that addresses on exchanges differ from normal wallets in that they contain the exchange address as well as further information (can't remember the exact terminology) identifying yourself on the specific exchange.

Not entirely sure if that is hundred percent accurate but that's how I have understood it.

Has anyone checked to make sure the setup generator is up to date after the recent fork?

I am not sure if anything would have changed but it is certainly starting to look as if we got some kind of problems in the Monero pool.

I know Oliver has gone through a lot of things and is trying to get it sorted. I was thinking that if this part was overlooked maybe it is a problem on the user side of things and no matter what troubleshooting is done on the pool side it won't change anything.

I really do not know much about these kind of things but could it be a reason for our recent lack of progress?

At least it seems to be a common issue, not only this pool is affected.

Still persisting and variable difficulty still not adjusting properly even after installing newest (2.4.5.) version of XmRig.

From the little bit of googling I've done it seems to be affecting only XmRig and be connected to DDOS protection.

Because the variable difficulty doesn't adjust and the miner 'cutting out' every other minute there isn't many solved calculations being produced.

No, I'm not using utilising SSL port myself.

The one you mentioned in your original post, I used to be on the previous one.

I have noticed the var diff seems to have changed where I now only get diff <6900. Previously I used to be allocated much lower difficulties.

I'm having the same issues, used to point to the old poolmining server but once this started appearing I changed to the new coinfoundry address but it is still persisting.
