Monero "reward" - April 20 2018
Mined for a month at 1.5K hs and get .04781 shares. holy crap.. Had 3.9B on counters, but I only see 594.41M shares in my history below.. Please explain why this is?

i had over 800 milllion shares, got paid for 41 million wtf?
Read the FAQ on how PPLNS works.
Sigh, we are not a PPS pool that pays per share (hence the name). A PPLNS pool pays for blocks and if a finding a block takes as long as this one the payment will be completely underwhelming to say the least.
Well, I had 17B shares of effort and left with 0.00202 XMR

I had the same thing happen to me once... The next block I received a really nice payout. Patience is key on these.
It's not just patience...
I could (should) have put half my rigs off and be able to mine the whole time it took to find the block ...
and have _much_ better payout.
Thanks to everyone that provided feedback. I'm a noob.
