any statememt about the connection issues?
seems a good portion of the pool can't mine their respective coins. I can't gpu or cpu mine at all. All was fine until about 5pm.

The EU, US-East and US-West servers went through a period of excessive inbound traffic, most likely caused by a DDos. I'm still analyzing where the attack came from. In the Crypto mining scene getting popular automatically gains you enemies.
It looks like I have lost Ethereum shares during the DDoS attack. Is that the case ?
my guess is,you wren't have been earning shares whilst you were getting the error messages.
