Etn hashing and payment query

Hi, 

I have been mining etn from last 12-13 days and since etn payment was not made I had 1.127 billion shares in my hash portfolio. But now I can see only 237 million shares after the payment and the payment was also very less. Could you please let me know what would be possible reason that I can see less shares in my A/C and less than expected payout.

"the payment was also very less." The first block today had an effort of 409%. Under PPLNS model, miners are paid only for the shares that are part of the 100% effort window, all other shares get discarded. Read the FAQ and look at round 5 in the graphic. And before you ask if this is fair, yes, it is fair.
