ETH address should not be case sensitive

With or without uppercase should consider as same address. Thanks!

I will second this. When I first started mining here I put in the Address I was mining too to see my stats and it showed 0 hashs and 0 shares. I compared the 2 addresses (miner vs web site) and they were the same. I was getting ready to give up and it struck me that one of the addresses had a couple of upper case characters in it, so I pasted the address from my start.bat file into here and poof shares showed on my stats page.

This might be an issue everywhere and I have seen a few posts on this board stating, miner working fine, address valid and there is nothing in my stats....

From what I know (and again I am pretty new to crypto) ETH addresses are hexadecimal and there is no difference between ABCDEF and abcdef character codes in HEX.

in other words

0xF170982086D2A8271AD977D22deb62CA834CdB is no different than

0xf170982086d2a8271ad977D22deb62CA834cdb

however if I have one style in my miner bat and one style on the stats address the web site thinks they are different.
