Low Earnings from Latest ETH Block

eSurigao 6 years ago updated 6 years ago 7

My concern is that I seem to get a lower than expected balance from the latest ETH round. I consistently mined 24/7 a total of 5.37T for they past few days but only got 0.00526 ETH? I know I have a low hashrate but this is even lower from the pool I came from. Is this right?

Thanks for taking note of my concern. Again, cheers and more power to this pool. I plan to stay here for good: great support and low fees. :-)

Sorry for responding late. Things got a bit hectic due to the initial problems with the launch of the Verge pools. Can I have your wallet address?

I've checked your dashboard and switched to the monthly hashgraph. Looks like you've been mining for the past three days while the whole round took 11 days. I've also checked the reward calculation and since that hasn't changed for months, I've found no anomalies either. Nevertheless, I'd like to know what you would have expected to earn? Perhaps we can arrange something.

Thank you, Oliver, for looking more closely into my case even with your hands full keeping the pools up. Came from Ethermine as a beginner miner, irked by their/my stale shares (1%), and jumped here by way of a Reddit recommendation. There I was paid 0.00805 ETH for the same three full days of mining even with the higher 1% fee and the same PPLNS payout scheme. That's why I as surprised with my first result.

I do intend to stay with Coinfoundry 24/7 and become a loyal worker as I build up my rig with, hopefully, better payouts

Thanks for taking care of us miners. Hope you succeed in all your endeavours.

eSurgiao , as Oliver has said, you've been around only for 3 days out of 11, so your share contribution wasn't necessarily the best for an ideal reward distribution, where the distribution of the shares was skewed to those that have been around for the full time, also due to the fact that we've had a higher hashrate for the first half of that period. If the block would have taken us just those 3 days to find, meaning you would have been around for the entire window, your reward would most likely have been around the expected average.

Thanks for the clarification, man. So glad to be at Day 1 for the next ETH block! ⛏️
