Lost connection to the VTC stratum pool with all miners

Hey Jeff. I've checked the stratum and everything is working. Network glitch perhaps?

Do you have any DDOS protections setup? I had added about 100mh/s to the pool. If that is an 'ok' thing to do Ill point some miners back at you guys if thats ok and we can test it out.

Maybe dns issues I could see that I guess.

I had 1 TH/s trained on the DASH pool through Nicehash the other day to give the pool a little boost. No issues with DDos protections kicking in.

yeah happened again.

Weird. I've checked the logs. There was not interruption for the other miners on any of the pools during that period.

Yeah check this out.  It's ok to not let me ping, I get that. But the path looks pretty clean really.

Anyway not sure how actionable this is, since i'm the only one it happens to :)

whats odd is this only happens to you guys. I haven't tried any other pools on your site yet. Might be a good test though. I'll see if I can do that later today.

I'm having what I take to be the same issue, frequent disconnects followed by the miner being unable to connect:

Have not had any issues pointing the same miner at other pools.

nslookup / traceroute on zec.poolmining.org get reasonable results.

I've identified a security measure in the pool code that was acting too aggressively on perceived malformed data sent by clients. This feature is now disabled until we find a fix without side-effects. Sorry for that guys.

A bug in the pool-code responsible for this issue has been fixed and this should not happen again.
