GPU and CPU mining on same computer... possible or am I just being stupid??
I have a box with a ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1060 AMP Edition, ZT-P10600B-10M, 6GB card and a i5 4th gen cpu, want to see if possible to get out the most of the box. I am getting 400+ h/s for the GPU already, want to squeeze out another 200 h/s from the cpu.
thoughts....
Also... possible to add a second gpu into the box, that is not the same and still able to mine with it? I have an older Sapphire Radeon R9 270X 2GB that I would like to put to use.
thanks

Hi jsnj208,
I do dual mining on linux, using ccminer for the GPUs in one shell and xmrig for the CPU in another.
That should work fine. You just gotta be careful to leave some CPU resources to the GPU miner to allow it to drive the GPU at max capacity.
I have AMD, Nvidia and CPU mining all in one. Click the link below for the mining software I use.

I am running this on a win10 machine, so I def have to check it out. Thanks much
yes, its possible but you might want to set the affinity for your cpu mining to removed from the core 0, leave that to your OS and GPU software. should be fine.
