[VTC] Question about this pool

Hello, I mine here since a day and a half but i'm mining on my daily rig, i'm mining when i'm at work, mining when I do thing that didnt required my gpu but I stop when I play or when I shutdown my computer (it is in my bedroom and, the noise isn't that big of a problem but the led fans :/) So my question is : am I going to get vertcoin with that type of mining in this pool or should I found another pool that use a payment system more compatible with my type of mining?

My adress : (mining at 25-30MHs and right now I have 20k shares but is it set to 0 when a block is found?)

Good question, that's incredibly hard to answer because there are so many variables involved ...


  • Frequency of found blocks
  • When they get found
  • Did other miners also stop mining at some point
  • If so, how many of them did and when


I wish I could give you a definitive answer but unfortunately I can't. But my gut feeling is that a PPS pool would be better suited to your mining schedule.

thanks, maybe you can answer another one? when mining with ccminer on your pool I get 25.7MH/s on the cmd window, but on ccminer's pool, I get 23.5 MH/s, same card, same settings, everything is the same... do you know why?

Pools display a rough estimate of your hashrate based on your submitted shares. When in doubt always trust your local hashrate.
