No XMR pay incoming, 40K shares to 0

Hi,

I mined at least 2 weeks in-between november & december and stopped when I saw that no block was found for a lot of time.

I waited to be paid to mine more.

A few days ago you found a block.

My wallet is still empty: 46fL2m9rterJvvhWPkhpE3ahvaDompf5wjZsXnf8RxqpMH5m1YcshZuetCd2iFqPXcBwmu9fFN9L3JMaptTEaHjrBvDzd5h

And I don't see anything anymore on your website (no share, no balance, no paid out).

What does that mean?

Exactly same here. Had about 9M shares. All balances have dropped to ZERO. WTF

I had the same on the ETH pool. I'm not sure if this bug is fixed yet.

See what I replied on Piggzy's post. This likely applies to you Kynn.

Hi,

First off, thank you for the explanation :).

Next, the way I see things nothing is told about the workflow when you're coming to the pool.

Having read about the part where a block can be found fast and makes it harder for the next one to be found, it makes absolutely no sense for any newcomer, to mine for a precedent block from which they didn't get any profit.

As I did not get any precedent block reward, my work should be taken into account for the next block and not the precedent one.

When coming to the pool, you are straight away being told the pool has a PPLNS payout model. If you do not understand what PPLNS means, then you are expected to research it on your own, i.e. by going to the pool's FAQ or reading up on PPLNS elsewhere. I myself was a first-time miner when I came to this pool and I had no idea what PPLNS was, but I did my due diligence and read about it.

Either way, I think you are still not properly understanding PPLNS. Any work is taken into account for reward calculation for the upcoming block(s) only, not a precedent block.

Fair enough,

I wish you luck as I'm not agreeing to the model and thus not staying.

Thanks for your reply.

PS: "any work taken into account for upcoming block" does not mean rewarded. That's a problem with your sentence in my opinion. That's the part that doesn't make sense for me :). Look, I've worked 2 weeks, and haven't been rewarded, so you can't say my work was "taken into account".

It's taken into account under the PPLNS rules of course. If PPLNS is not for you, then fair enough, everybody has different preferences, every payout scheme has its benefits and downsides. It looks to me that you will be more happy with a PPS scheme despite higher fees, given the fact that you are not a consistent miner but an on/off miner.

Thank you again for your time, and advice. Good day to you sir.
