I've run both your config and that of your friend through a calculator and both if you appear to exceed your projected earnings by a significant margin. Why your friend earned more than projected would require an extensive investigation and I'm a bit swamped in work right now.
@Ayaz: There are multiple factors that could have contributed to his earnings being higher comparing just the number of miners. Intermittent connectivity issues, rejected shares etc. To answer that I would have to go over all of his shares and compare the timings with yours. It's not that simple but I'll try to find out more about this. Just give me some time.

i know that its significantly higher than the projected earning and am very happy about that :)
Just wanted to know and understand why there was a difference between 2 and 8 machines?
