dash shares being rejected

shawn 7 years ago updated by Oliver 7 years ago 24

hello I am currently mining dash on your pool at 1 ths and it shows over 59% of my shares are being rejected. Any solution as to why?

Could you provide me with your wallet address? If you're reluctant to share it here please send it to info@poolmining.org.

sure

Investigating ...

at one point it said 100% rejected

Is this happening right now?

Did you recently restart your miner or did it run uninterrupted for quite some time?

It was running for awhile and then restarted. I am using nicehash and stats were showing me 100% rejected

Also my shares weren't increasing

Did you order from Nicehash's USA pool or the european one? (Hint: you should chose the latter)

The delta is at -24.97% right now

Strange. I've seen some rejected shares for your account but not 100%, not even 50%. Right now all of your shares get accepted and I can observe your share counter increasing.

Yes they def are now, just when I sent the message there had been some issues. Wasn't sure if it was on nicehash end or the pool. I lowered speed for a little while to see if it would help but it was just solid red. So increased it back to 1 ths.

I'll be monitoring this issue and your account for anomalies for some time. I would like to get to the root of this.

No problem, looks like it is doing okay now. I appreciate the help and I really appreciate the quick response! Most pools don't respond so quickly. Thank you

I just sent an email with a pic from nicehash

I'm going to try this myself.

I just have 1 TH/s from Nicehash on the pool without any rejects. Our own shares will of course not be counted.

ok great thanks

i had the same issue- hashes via nicehash with massive rejects- this was like 2-3 weeks ago already... decided to drop x11 but andyway just wanted to let you know...

thanks for letting me know I wasn't only 1 with same issue

cheers

I've implemented several enhancements regarding how the pool's vardiff algorithm responds to wild fluctuations of incoming hashpower as it the case with NiceHash and will test those changes using Nicehash today. I'll keep you posted.
