ETH time to find a block

ETH: Any idea how long it will take to find an eth block, when mining with 917 MH/s (total of the ETH pool)? After how many days I can expect some payout?

Mining is primarily luck. But we're planning to boost the Pool Hashrate through NiceHash later today.

i have been thinking about giving Nicehash a try.  I have been mining on Nanopool for about a month, and recently upgraded my rig to 5 x RX470's totaling 140 HM/s...  I have been mining on your pool for about a day and I have 2000+ shares already.
Have you started with Nicehash yet?   If I was to point some mining power there, would it speed things up?
I dunno much about Nicehash, but I see that it is very flexible with their terms.  Buy however much power you want for however long you want, no contracts or whatever...

Has Nicehash worked for you in the past?  I'd like to give it a shot, and help out a smaller pool in the process

We've had great success with Nicehash for boosting block times for our other pools using spare funds. For some reason using Nicehash for this purpose didn't work at all for the Ethereum Pool. I've been in contact with the Nicehash team about this without any conclusion until now. I did not lose any money so feel free to give it a shot. If it works please let me know. You support is greatly appreciated!

have you hit an ETH block yet?

seems that your pool is incompatible with Nicehash based on their Pool Verifier...

Pool host: eth.poolmining.org
Pool port: 3073
Pool user: 0xcb55abBfe361B12323eb952110cE33d5F28BeeE1
Pool pass: x
Algorithm: DaggerHashimoto

Resolving pool host eth.poolmining.org... OK
Establishing connection with proxy... OK
Establishing connection with pool 88.99.5.24:3073... OK
Sending mining.subscribe... OK
Sending mining.authorize... OK
Received mining.notify subscription... OK
Received authorization result... OK
Received mining.set_difficulty... OK: difficulty=1.5
Received mining.notify work... OK

Pool verification process is complete. Tested pool is compatible!
