Watching Dash Pool closely

Oliver 6 years ago updated 6 years ago 21

Monitoring the Dash pool closely since it hasn't found a block after yesterday's upgrade to Dashcore 12.3.2. If the situation remains that way it will be taken down for maintenance to figure out what's going on.

Help me with th DGB pool plssssss, and i promise you i-l add so much miners int the dash pool that you-l find a block in no time..and just as a proof, i-l add 10 D3.

Under review

gabineagu: I'm currently working non-stop on the DGB issue.

thx alot...

I've contacted the Dash team for more information.

No payment after 2 days ago in Dash :/

A block with a relatively high effort was found tonight and payments went out.

I completely agree with you. They screwed us big time with the new version. After 2 days we got one block and now again almost 1 and half days no block. Can we downgrade? I never saw Beepool or Cybtc in top 20 in the pool list

https://chainz.cryptoid.info/dash/#!extraction and now so many pool are in the list and we are out from top 20.

I doubt downgrading is an option.

Cannabiscoin(CANN) is more profitable now. We might have to consider mining with our D3 if you can open the pool for CANN coin.

2M shares and still stuck, on a day when dash just recovered value.

@Oliver is there a problem with the dashboard? My D3s are hashing but the dashboard shows no activity since 18 hours ago.

Update: You've been affected by the same problem as outlined by me in my response to this thread. Please provide your wallet address to receive some compensation.

Loki: Are you sure the miners are pointed to us? Whats the pool address, port and wallet address you are mining with?

@Oliver this is my wallet: XpGajqnMbAr96ArdQbA6Zk7MrjKidtYmmV

Also, I am certain that they are pointed to coinfoundry, in fact, just now I saw the dashboard and it is now showing my rig. I have been observing randomly in the past few days (spanning at least 10 days) that my shares disappear every after a compensation was made.

That your paid shares get deducted from your remaining shares is simply how pools operate. Every time you see "Balance reset after payment" in your account statement, that also implies that those shares have been discarded as part of the payment processing.

As for your shares not getting recognized for a while, I'm compensating you with 0.1 DASH and apologize for the inconvenience.

Hello Oliver, thanks for the compensation, though it was not my intention to actually be outrightly compensated. I am more interested in providing objective feedback to help you stabilize your pool - which I love by the way.

I understand the balance sheet statement on its plain and simple purpose.

Allow me to provide an example - and this is based on my memory for the past 24 hours.

Around 20 hours ago, my dashboard's statement does not have this entry:

=====================================================

20 hours ago +0.00976 Reward for 455.6 K shares for block 942744

=====================================================

While on the right side of the dashboard that now says "Shares 816.324 K" had 3M shares.

If I deduct the 455.6 K in the statement when balance was paid, I should still have 2.5M+ shares in the dashboard.

Which, surprisingly when I checked around 12hours ago went to a mere sub 700K shares.

700K+455K does not add up to 3M shares.

This could be a bug, I don't know but I hope. Because if it were not, it spells a negative image.

Note: I noticed some accounting issues since the 12.3 or was it 12.03 update on the Dash system thing.

Edit: Added note.

It doesn't work as simple as that. We are using PPLNS not PPS. Here's a link to the concept written by its inventor isreali Mathematician Meni Rosenfeld: PPLNS.

We also have similar explanation in our FAQ.

Hi, thanks for the references, I will give it a good time reading.

Anyway, this leaves us with one issue where since around 16 hours ago, my dashboard appeared empty while my miners were hashing.

Apologies for the accounting issue as I have surely missed those documentations. Should I return the 0,1Dash for the inconvenience?

No, of course not.

Gracias. ^_^
