socket errors on monero pool. I cant get past tehm

all i get is socket errors, noting changed on my pc

still only getting 1/5 the normal  hashrate, Woulldn't know how to change servers though, anyone know what i need to do?

It has something to do with the German IP address I think.  I changed my IP to the USA server and it is working.  I "was" connected to the German IP at 138......
