Bitcoin Private (BTCP) Block Bounty

Oliver 7 years ago updated by Leiru 7 years ago 13

Coinfoundry has been one of the first BTCP pools to ever exist and has been steadily finding and paying blocks ever since. Like many other pools, we've been slowly losing hashpower over the past weeks when interest in BTCP faded, in part due to the unclear future of the project. As things appear to be slowly progressing into the right direction we'd like to invite miners interested in the coin to join our pool. As such we'll be rewarding the finder of each of the next 25 blocks with 0.25 BTCP each starting at Block 307094.

I'll be periodically updating this thread with the winners.

Question? Is it profitable to switch from the monero pool to the Bitcoin Private Pool? Wondering if my miners which average 7k/hs on monero currently, would be able to mine the Bitcoin Private effectively?

I think that would work pretty damn well.

BTW, your Twitter background image is bad ass lol... To the moon!

Sadly, the growth effect induced on the pool by this bounty has been utterly destroyed by ruthless miners exploiting a weakness in the Equihash PoW that has now been fixed. More details here (upvote if you'd like to support the pool):

I am going to try switching a couple miners in the next day to see how well it will do.

I will get my modest hashing back in your pool, good SIr.
